The Shave Den:
"I did purchased the Semogue 2000 boar brush about a month.I have never tried a boar brush before, only badger.I thought that boar brushes were not as good and luxurious as badger brushes, how wrong I was!Now Im totally sold to boar brushes and I cant think in going back to badger for a long time, either spend the money that I used to spend on badger brushes.
Quality:this brush is really well made.Semogue are still making quality brushes and you dont have the feeling of something "cheap" on your hands.I really like the handle, its heavy and gives you a great grip.
Balance:Its well balance.Havent had a problem with it.Works well on face lathering and bowl lathering.
Density:Its dense and well pack. Its not a big shedder either, once in a while a hair, but thats all.
Luxury factor:The brush cost 17,95 euros but I dont have the feeling of having a cheap brush, actually I consider this a bargain for its price. As I have wrote before is well made and you have the feeling of having a quality brush on your hands.
Ease of lather:It took like 15 days to "break" but now makes tons and tons of lather.I have used it with shaving sticks, tallow and glycerin based soaps and as the 1305 performs great.Soft tips, not floppy at all with a nice backbone.
Price:17,95 is a steal for this brush.I like its design and how performs so this is truly a hidden gem."
